Connect a screen
Your phone is the racket and any browser is the court. Open smashphone.app on the screen, type the 6 digits the app shows, and swing.
Got a code from the app?
Type the 6 digits the app shows. This screen becomes the court.
Connection demo
1
Open the app
Your phone becomes the racket and quietly hosts the whole game — no account, no setup, no cloud.
2
Enter the code on any screen
Open smashphone.app on a laptop, iPad, TV or another phone and type the 6 digits the app shows. That screen becomes the court.
3
Swing
The first swing starts the match. Timing the golden ring earns a sweet-spot bonus.
The page didn't open
- The racket and the court must be on the same Wi-Fi — the phone, and this screen.
- Guest networks, and 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz bands with different names, count as separate networks. Pick the same network name on both devices.
- Turn off any VPN, and iCloud Private Relay, on both devices — they route traffic away from your own network.
- If the phone shows a second address, try that one too — the phone is on two networks and only one of them reaches this screen.
- Some routers block device-to-device traffic. Turn on Personal Hotspot on the phone, join it from this screen, then enter the code again.
About the code
- A code expires after two hours, and the phone takes a new one every time it opens the connect page. Use the digits showing on it right now.
- The code goes on a different screen — not on the phone that shows it.
It connected, then stopped
- Keep Smashphone open on screen while you play — the court pauses when you leave the app.
- If the court stops responding, refresh the browser page — it reconnects by itself.
- Changed Wi-Fi? Come back to smashphone.app and enter the code again — the phone's address moved with it.
- If the computer went to sleep, wake it and refresh the page.
